You CAN??? The obvious question is "WHY would you WANT one??" I drove a Smart car once, and could not figure out why it exists, and how it's transmission in particular ever got approved for use in ANY vehicle!

While I completely agree that the old Smart 'Softouch' transmission was a large pile of dog excrement, the new ones are actually very good. The 2016 MY third generation cars got either the 6-speed DCT or the 5-speed manual, and together with the rest of the upgrades actually make the Fortwos very decent getabouts.
The 2017 Brabus cars don't actually offer a performance increase over the "regular" Fortwo in the US (they do in Europe), but you can always swap in a Hayabusa motor if you're suicidal.

Having owned a Hayabusa about a decade and a half ago, I agree that WOULD be suicidal! The short wheelbase, tall, small-wheeled Smart car would be a stability terror indeed!!
I knew one local tuner who was getting 525 hp out of a radically modded Hayabusa. Barely rideable!
