Are there any major issues with the W204 C63 AMG

Hello, let me put some context

My dream has always been to have a German sports coupe and it all started with BMW. I really wanted an E92 M3 but with the engine rod bearing issues and possibly the main bearing starting now and all it's really putting me away. I then looked at an older M3, the E46 which also have some issues and the damn rear axle plate carrier (known as subrame issue) to.

The C63 in comparison seem to be around 10k more expensive but for 2013, more recent than the BMW choices and they all seem to come with a 2 year warranty right off the bat from certified pre-owned. It sucks they don't come in manual transmission but hey.

So that being said, is there any major expensive issues known with this car? Also, I'm a DIYer, is DIYing still doable with this car?

Thanks for the input and replies!

Really? All I can find is a thread with 15 pages that when you ask a question in it you get told the same answer.

How does this forum not have a FAQ sticky with a buyer's guide listing info?

Exactly. It's just a collection of threads which have loads of pages in each. And then I even saw someone asking a question in one of those listed and got told to search.

EDIT: And it's only only one link to the problems of the car and it dates from when the person had the car brand new, that's not what people are looking for.
