JBSpeed v. JL Motoring v. RW Carbon v. Mode etc..

All,

I have yet to add any CF to my car, but it's time to get started. I understand that some CF retailers have well established reputations for quality products and also that their prices reflect their reputation and quality.

The retailers that appear to be well represented in this forum include:
  • Mode Carbon
  • MA Carbon
  • JB Speed
  • RW Carbon
  • JL Motoring
  • Revosport
  • ebay

I am asking for quality and fitment reviews for those who have purchased these products. This could be a very useful post for the forum if we keep the comments productive and on point. I would ask that reviews take the following format:
  • Item Purchased:Trunk Spoiler, Diffuser, etc.
  • Cost represented as: $, $$, $$$, $$$$
  • Fitment: 1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star, 5 star
  • Quallty: 1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star, 5 star
  • Comments: Ordering experience, overall satisfaction, durability, etc.

A few points are given:
  • There is no free lunch, you get what you pay for.
  • We have expensive cars and do not want to add cheapo mods.

However... there is a point of diminishing returns beyond which increasing investment does not yield significant increase in quality.
My goal is to get quality products at the best possible price. Just as most of us do not want to pay dealership prices for CF.

PLEASE NO VENDOR POST!

Thanks in advance for your comments and participation. We get a lot of vendors on this forum, we have a fair number of reviews, but we do not have a thread that compiles our collective impressions of the products offered here on the forum.
Let's make this a resource.

Mode and MA make their own stuff they are the highest quality with least fitment issues.

The rest like JL/RW/JB get their stuff from Asia probably made in the same factory. The big fin diffuser is sold by most of them yet it is the same diffuser. Same with the mirror covers. Buying from a company JL you are more likely to get an "A" quality piece as opposed to Ebay. The fitment on the Asian stuff is hit or miss, but it is also cheaper. I'd definitely take a shot on $200 mirror covers vs. $1200 for OEM.
