C63 pre/post facelift header fitment.

Hello everyone, relatively new here. Got my 63 at the end of summer, love the car bla bla bla. I'll cut to the chase. I'm looking to purchase some used mhp/arh headers, but recently the original mhp headers became an option. Question is will those fit my 13 p31 coupe, seeing as they were designed for pre facelift sedans. Dont tell me to search because I have and to no avail. Im sure it may have been discussed but i couldn't find it. Thanks in advance.

I mean theres a guy in this thread with a 2012 that installed MHP
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...2-headers.html
but he was sedan

I installed weistec headers on my 14 coupe and weistec told me there is no difference between the years or coupe vs sedan. One size fits all. Cant see why the coupe vs sedan for MHP/ARH would be different.

Even ARH website lists one size fits all

MHP/ARH had an initial V1 version of their header design, and later updated to V2. I believe the only difference was that the V2 had the header pipes fully welded to merge collector, while the V1 had slip fitment with secure tabs. The V1 version should fit your FL coupe, but may be prudent to confirm with ARH (i believe they had fabbed V1 too), or with Harry at Bergen Imports or Tony Barber at Turn In Concepts - 2 experienced installers who likely have thrown V1 version on FL cars.
Note that if you elect to later install Ultra Racing chassis reinforcement bars, the main one up front will have to be cut and re-welded to accommodate both V1 and V2 MHP/ARH Headers.

Photo below is of the V1 from Hagi's PFL car (user Mthis, and one of the faster NA cars out there), note the slip fitment of the header pipes into merge collector:

Thanks for the info guys. Appreciate it. Looks like my car is about to get a whole lot louder.

You should be fine. I was looking at that set but picked up the mbh ones instead that were on a 507 sedan. AR and MBH both list same headers for sedan or coupe.

Yeah the big dogs list them as same for both. Read somewhere that some older headers had fitment issues.
