You're going to get far more bang for your buck by deleting your secondary cats than installing shorty headers. Why not start there first and see how you like it.

I don't think Modern Horsepower is around anymore and he sold long tubes anyway. See American Racing Headers for their long tubes or MBH Motorsports.
Search for Superlubricity for PLMs. No idea about the others.

if you are going to spend $800 to have a header installed (this doesn't include the cost of the headers), get a LTH. Even the FI ones look decent if you are on a budget. I love my ARH LTHs. Other than my LSD, the headers have put the most difference into the car. secondary cat detele or LTHs. don't waste money on shorties.

Guys, is here anybody who has short headers? Is on the market any 4-in1 or Tri-Y shorty? LTH is not possible in my land, because too loud and any modification on the exhaust need to be authorized, wich is terrible here (yeah, Switzerland). I looking for the best shorty solution, which will produce a bit deeper tone and gain some HP. I think will be the best any 4-in1/Tri-Y shorty, but not found any avaible product on the market, only Log-style versions. They did'nt produce other tone, as somebody shared here his experiences.

I have modified my W202 C43 with a secondary cat and resonator delete since 10 years now. It has passed the technical inspection twice now as it is, with no problem or comments. Prior to that, I sytematically swapped the modified exhaust with the OE one and changed back after the inspection. What a hassle. Perhaps the 21 year old vehicle doesn't mow get too much close attention as they don't see many around anymore. The only thing they still check is the part # on the rear muffler.

Hi Formaster, I'm in the same part of the world as you and I agree that the technical authorities can be pretty *****y. I will not modify the exhaust on my C63 and probably will not touch it, not unless I find a system which meets local norms (noise) here.
