C63 AMG 2009
1st to 2nd

so I have a C63 Ang 2009. That I bought from a used car dealer. When I bought it, it had 103k miles. The first week I decided to drive it from Anaheim to San Francisco and back. But on the way over there I had my check coolant light come on and I looked everywhere online and they said the car would be fine. So I went on and after 3 days of driving it I got back and checked the coolant level and it was fine. The following day I drove it and my car was smoking like crazy. I took it to a mechanic and they said that my engine had over heated and that it cracked and meshed together so it was no longer good. So many months later finally was able to switch out the engine and make it run. And I started to noticed that every time I would step on it in any mode it would jerk from 1st to 2nd really hard, but any other gears would be fine. Just wondering why the car is doing that. I’ve only put 13k on it since I got it. And had many problems with it but I’ve fixed them. The only thing that bugs me is that. So I haven’t been able to enjoy my car at all any fees back would be great? And sorry if I disnt explain myself good. If anything I’ll try my best To explain it better if ppl don’t understand me.

Damn, sounds like you've had some bad luck with it...

Get somebody with a Xentry Diagnostics tool to check the solenoid pressure in the transmission. That will get you closer to your answer.

Try asking Google for a local Mercedes Xentry specialist...I'm sure there will be somebody local to you who drives around with his laptop, diagnosing Mercedes cars. There are quite a few of those here in the UK. I'm sure you'll have some local to you.

Failing that, yeah MB will be able to help diagnose it of course.

sorry for the late update, I took it to my mechanic and he flushed the transmission fluid and he said that it was really thick. And he serviced it and finally it stopped doing that!! He said that it’s seems the previous owner never serviced the car
