Can't speak for the other states, but here in WA its been business as usual for pretty much the whole pandemic. Had like two kinda sorta lockdowns that lasted 2 weeks. Very few restrictions and at the moment the economy here is booming. Has been for almost 2 years. Never been so busy with work.

oh no doubt, but the MSRP at AUS for example, was originally at $245k, inflation (assuming not at the same rate as USD) aside, from that to $450k is still a drastic increase.
