Brake Rotor Clarification
Hi All.
Its time to replace both my front brake rotors. But after google searching them, im so confused on which ones are the correct rotors.
My cars vin is: WDD2040772F623330 - Australian car.
2010 Performance package plus.
Reasons im so confused is the front rotors vary prices from $700usd to almost $2000usd. Id prefer to buy OEM or OE rather then aftermarket.
I was told the part number for the rotors is: 2194210212
If thats correct then the rotors below on ebay are correct? If they are right (the ebay ones) thats almost 2k cheaper then what i was quoted in AUS!

Someone please help me clarify
Thank You!

That is an OE Brembo rotor, your part number looks right, but the brembo is a lot cheaper than the mercedes part - the mercedes part is almost 900 per rotor, so almost 2000 for a pair is correct for the mercedes part. The Brembo is aftermarket OE hence the much better price and they are good rotors. You can also just put the non P30/P31 rotors on the car for about $150-200, they bolt right on no issue, just weigh more as they are all iron instead of 2 piece, but if you don't track the car, you won't notice any real difference.

Yeah I just did the same shopping, Brembos at FCP are 466 USD per rotor, and Geuine Mercedes is $765 per rotor on oediscountparts.com Yeah I think I'll save my $600 and go Brembo set.

Do what I just did. Email Tracy at tracy@skylandauto.net and give her your VIN and tell her what you need. The forum recommended her to me and I just got off the phone with her. She was super helpful and informative, and KNOWLEDGEABLE.
