Wheel/tire setup for drags ?

I would like to bring a pair of DOT Hoozier slicks to the strip. Looking for bolt on wheels compatible w/ brake calipers ( no mods ). Also recommended wheel & tire sizes .

THANKS !

My 3 favorite things: My C-63, my dog, and my mountain bike-( lives in back ).

No rubbing w/ 275s ? Found Bathurst gunmetal @ n4sm.com , $310. I was , conservatively, looking at 17x8 w/ Hoosier 245/45-17s

correct no rubbing issues with 275. If you want a 17x8 rim get the tsw Nurburgring in 17x8 those work perfect as well no modification.

Do you think my car could pull 275s ? W/mods I'm a little over 500 hp. One size better for the strip ?
TSW also makes Interlagos in 8 and 9. I like the look but don't know the weight of either. Will call n4sm when they wake up on the west coast.

THX

yea if I can so can you. What are your mods? 245s can work too seen some guys on here running 225 with no traction issues. Bigger isn't always better but I opted for wider. Weight of the rims are around 17/18 pounds mine were 17.8 all of those are flow formed.

Only mod is Euro throttle response tune. I was skeptical of their 50+ hp claim but it is awesome. I may add headers. Wheel spin is moderate w/ Michelin pilots so I have reservations about turning over 275s.

What is the offset of your 17 x 9 TSW Bathurst rims?

Why do you want drag radials with such minimal mods. Get some better summer tires go 275 on the rear. Get the new 4s the super sport replacements.

For me the car is very difficult to launch- carefully rolling on the gas to avoid wild wheel spin and fish tailing. My 60' times have been pathetic, the best a little over 2 sec. But point taken, I could find a better way to spend $1000. Would have made sense if I'd snagged yours I may post a "wanted to buy". After the Eurocharge tune I guess the best next improvement is driver ! IE just last night learned the trick to footbrake launch. Tried it today on a remote straightaway here and it worked.! I still need to perfect throttle finesse / wheel spin.
