This was supposed to be easy...
So I have a confession to make. I've neglected my C63. I didn't drive it for weeks. Like not even once. Since I picked up my 911, it had just been sitting. Kinda sad to see such an awesome car sitting. A car that I just like to look at. And that blue. That blue. So the plan was to sell the old Lunar Blue P31, a car I looked for for over a year, and not have 851hp worth of cars when I can only drive one at a time and when I have very limited space for cars seeing as how I live in a city.
Then I decided to get the a serious paint correction on the 911 and get it wrapped. It's Jet Black and has some miles on it, so it needed a little love. This work was slated to take a week. "No problem" I thought. Good "good thing I still have the C63."
Just climbing back in, I immediately was hit with what an absolutely awesome car this is. I mean, I knew this. I've put somewhere around 25K miles on the two C63's I've owned, but I guess I'd somehow forgotten. That engine. That noise on startup. The anger from like 1,200rpm to redline. The way it pulls in 2nd and 3rd is nothing short of intoxicating. The seats. How no one knows what it is, unless they know what it is. And then they smile, sharing a little nod that says "Yes. I'm so glad someone built something that insane."
Anyone have a spare garage space in Boston?
