Creaking sound from drivers seat ( coupe )
Ok so for the past 2 months my drivers seat has started making a creaking sound when pressure is applied from pushing back onto the seat or even taking off from a light . I removed the rear panel to see if I could pin point where the noise is coming from but honestly there is a lot going on in there where it would be hard to find the culprit. Has anyone experienced this on there coupe seats ??
I did line the leather on the sides where it meets the plastic trim with felt tape so the bolsters are not the problem , this sounds internal.

Mine did that for a while. I dropped something down where I had to unbolt the sea to get to it, and when I re-bolted the seats the noise was gone.

One of my driver's side seat bolsters (the one nearest the center console) started randomly squeaking this winter. Now that the temperatures have come back up a bit, the squeaking is gone.
Seems relatively common and sometimes, the issue resolves itself. Just know that you're not alone on this one.

Also have a really loud creaking sound when car is cold. Gets much better after warming. Seems to be getting worse and coming from driver side, can’t figure out where. Probably the same issue as you boys?

Count me in, but I have a '14 sedan. With colder weather, especially in the winter the whole seat squeaks, but as soon as the cabin gets warm enough it disappears. I remember reading a thread about this some time ago. I think I won't bother fixing this in my car unless it's something simple, because my dealers sucks *** when it comes to these kind of issues.
