I called mustang drivers hipsters and soyboys (jokingly) and the sjw in BLK came out. He went apeshyt and called me a racist. Wished death to me and my family. So I changed it to BLKCUCK so him and other sensitive easily triggered people wouldnt throw a fit. Id tell you to look up that thread but Soyboy went back and changed/hid all his emotional breakdow post to "whatever". I told that soyboy to hold that L and stop editing his post, and then he unfriended me.

I just drove on the bahn last week. Drivers expect fast cars so they stay on the right to clear the left lane. Different culture and conditions.
So......It has been a while since I posted something on this forum. As has been the case for a while now, this thread is entertaining! But, to bring it back on topic, I did have just one piece to say (I did have a few thoughts but it probably would lead to more banter):
After spending quite a bit of time in Germany on MANY unrestricted Autobahns, our cars are designed to run at high rpm levels for an extended period of time. If one does the AMG tour, you will hear about the stress tests ALL AMG engines go through. It is very intense. In America, it is not possible to drive the car as one would on the Autobahn. One would not be able to sustain 300 KM/hr for a 5 minute duration, then have a 130 KM/hr zone come up in a flash and have some heavy braking to get down to the restricted speed.
So, with that said, doing a run up to 200 KM/hr as I think we saw in the video is not really a big deal in the right conditions, in the right environment, on a road designed for high speed, etc. In fact, one will see regular 2.0T VW Passats running at 200 KM/hr with no drama on unrestricted Autobahns. So getting our cars up to 160 KM/hr is not a big deal from a "vehicle designed to run at 320 KM/hr" perspective.
My suggestion to anyone here that wants to truly understand our cars: Get yourself to Germany, rent an AMG vehicle, go out on any Autobahn, get yourself into an unrestricted zone and enjoy! When you get back to America, 160 KM/hr will seem very, very, very slow.
Be safe out there.
