The PDE guys are great, I’ve run with Gary and Cheryl and their crew a bunch of times. Good people. I’ll probably sign up for their event in Sep.
Decent lap time depends on how the car is setup and more importantly the experience/skill level of the driver. Are we talking right off the street on street tires, R-compounds, brake pads or BBK, other power mods or tune, suspension work, coupe or sedan, etc. Too many factors to make a sweeping statement on that. I’d think that a 2:24 would be a pretty good time with a tune and on MPSS and upgraded brake pads. Last time I ran there I was settling in the 2:08-2:10 range, and should be in the 2:06’s this year is my guess. My car does not have many stock parts left on it though.
Yeah I know its a bit of a loaded question, but like to see what others are running w/ a similar car to see what's possible, as I have only done 3 track days there....running at 2:18 on MPSS and no brake upgrades. I plan on registering for the Sept 17th date w/ PDE as you get a decent number of sessions if your able to run solo.

The scene from VIR today. Total washout. Got in a bunch of 2:18’s in the rain during open track practice, but it’s been pouring on and off all day (right now we are huddled in place due to lightning). Tomorrow looks better and Sunday actually looks good so fingers crossed. I think the car has a 2:04 in it but will need the weather to cooperate a bit.
By the way HyperFest is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Some very serious weaponry here.
Damn, it sucks when you plan a weekend away at the track, only for the weather to come along and screw it all up.
I hope the weather clears up for you guys, and you get some decent track time in.
Any day at VIR is a great day... She’s running 2:19s on full course... 20 track days and counting... got to love when your the only car on the track for 47 minutes!...

Thanks and definitely. I think NASA is doing a 2-day event in October (Oktoberfest?). It’s an 8hr drive so I have to make em count. Plus the car still doesn’t like the heat even with all my cooling upgrades (it was over 92F on Monday). Puking power steering fluid now.... found the next cooling weak point, sigh.
Will give you a heads-up, would be great to meet up.
