Sds star tweak thread
Can we start a thread of what we can do in sds for our cars?.
I'm about to mess with it and my goal is to get it to run the oil cooler fan sooner and run the big engine fan sooner.
also would like to disable the seat belt chime.
anyone have any info on either?

This would be awesome. I used to do this stuff with my E46 M3 since that community is extremely active in terms of coding, etc. I've searched, but can't find anything relating to coding within SDS and I'd love to be able to do the same with my C63.

I've done the following changes:
Update 2012 HU color to 2013
Update 2012 Dash color to 2013
Passenger seat belt chime removed.
DRL brightness adjustment.
C LED ON at all times.
Light switch adjustment.
Transmission adaptation disabled.
Speed limit 186mph
Reverse limit 40mph
I want to do:
Flashing brake light on hard braking.
Auto close all windows when holding circulate
Auto close sunroof when rain detected.
Transmission software update
Some others I might be forgetting.
I got some ideas from here http://www.slkworld.com/das-star-cod...as-tweaks.html

Based on everything I've read before I was told it just plain, cannot be done.

Interested in this also. Need to find someone in SoCal to turn off all the warnings for everything I’ve removed (airbags etc).

And the flashing rear brake light would be awesome. More info here: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post6031544

At some point I'll sit down and try to remember everything I've changed about both of my cars, with screenshots of the parameters and everything. I've not touched flashing modules much after nearly bricking my instrument cluster, though. Just variant coding

561Design - if no access to Xentry, can reset/erase SRS error codes (after connecting all necessary SRS harnesses) with certain OBD Scanner apps like Carly for Mercedes (worked very well for me).

Yes, I didn't want to blank out my air ride settings though. I have a merc diesel mechanic friend that has agreed to reset the codes for me. More because he wants a sneak peek of the car in person.
