Can I retrofit bi-xenon from salvage to C63 AMG?
Hi gang,
I have to decide today whether to purchase a 2013 C63 AMG that has everything except...the lighting xenon package. I know, wtf. Anyway, trying to get a straight answer whether OEM bi-xenon's can be installed into a w204 C63 AMG...like, what if I found a set from a salvage yard, could they be plug and played into the vehicle I may purchase? Thanks very much for any insight -

It can be done but is anything but plug-and-play. It's been discussed many times before, use the search function.

Actually, you're pretty lucky... Going from Halogen to Xenon whether PFL or PFL to FL is pretty easy. Purchase any regular depo FL halogen headlights, open them up, retrofit them with a Morimoto projector kit of choice (Morimoto EVOX-R 2.0 is what I'm running), and install an aftermarket HID kit.
It's a weekend project if you're taking your time. LMK if you have any questions. I'm sure our resident lighting expert JPtaylor will chime in at some point.
