Here's a laugh:
Called my indy to schedule a recommended trans flush and to include torque converter. Several hours later they called me back and left me a VM "unfortunately your transmissions requires a "special tool" for the flush so you'll need to go to the dealer". WTF? It was a Vm so I didn't get to grill them on wtf they are talking about, that I know it's just a drain and fill at the right temp. This shop has been pretty reliable for me so was quite surprised. Maybe they mean that don't have STAR and so can't monitor trans temp? Weird. and grrrrrr.
