i get a rattle at high rpm sometimes (6k rpm ish), one time it was a pretty loud ticking for a split second, most its a quite rattle if the engine is fully warmed but only at that certain rpm load (6k). if i drive normally i wont hear it of course cause im not at 6k rpms.

would my issue be connected with the common camshaft issues? the tap sound does sound like its comming from the top of the engine but then at 6k rpms im not near the engine.

Possible pinging?

take a video. Usually lifters and camshaft noises are more noticeable at lower engine speeds and lower loads in my experience.
