Hello everyone, new member here! I need some help as my car never issues with the power steering. At stationary, power steering will cut off and give it a little gas and it's back. Checked the fluid, was on match level and mow I can only guess the pump or some electrical issue which is highly unlikely. Car still under extended warranty, Can someone think of what could the issue?

As you're under warranty, for something like this (potentially expensive repair now or later) take it in to the dealer. It might be pump-related but even if it's not you may well get a pump replacement as part of the repair. The last thing you want to do is get it working in a band-aid fashion that masks the real problem and have it really fail when you're out of warranty.

I've never heard of this happening before. Could it be belt slip?
Its likely a weak pump. Just like anything belt driven the more rpm the more work it can do. make sure they replace the reservoir with the pump as it has an internal filter
