c63 IPE start up sound can be muted??

Hi guys, thinking to install the IPE full system for my c63 w204, just an important question, can the start sound can be muted? I have a mate installed an exhaust system called RES ( anyone heard of it or installed it? any feedback? ), seems the valve can't be turned off before the start, so every time it starts really loud, but I have checked youtube, seem the IPE valve can be turned off before the start and very quiet, any one can verify this? I have driven other cars, stock has valve on/off options, can start with the valve closed, very quiet and convenient. This is quite important for me.

MANY THANKS

Been discussed plenty of times. You can get a valve and have it closed when you start, it helps. Any tune that mentions about "delete or eliminate" cold start, really doesn't.

Not sure why you would want to change the exhaust on the AMG when it's already amazing. What are you trying to accomplish, maybe we can help with an alternative instead of spending thousands on a new...worse exhaust.

I had a car with full IPE exhaust including headers, it would start up with the valves closed and wasn't that loud even when cold. I didn't know you had the option of having them left open

So I presume the valve of IPE can be turn on or off before you start the engine, so you have the option to start loud ( valve open ) or start quiet ( valve closed ). But are you saying the valve of your IPE system is set closed by default before you start the engine?

Any other C63 owner installed full IPE including header can verify this?

It's almost as if buying parts that make your car louder... make your car loud. Who'd have thought?

You're car won't be quiet, OP, unless you go back to stock. And no, you can't get rid of the cold start. If a tuner says they can they are lying to or misleading you.
