Gintani Tune

Hey guys so I have been thinking about making my car louder for quite some time and I had a conversation with my buddy who owns an M5. He showed me his setup which is a full straight pipe with a gintani burble tune and it sounds insane. I contacted gintani regarding the tune and told me that the only thing i would need to do is to go catless. I am not sure how loud the drone would be or how bad it would smell or if it is even worth it. Does anyone have any experience with going catless or even the gintani burble tune? Would love some feedback before i pull the trigger.
I only have a resonator delete on the car currently

Yes you will need to go catless for a burble tune. If you are just looking to go catless and not worried about max performance then I would suggest the ArmyTrix downpipes. It deletes the primary and secondary cats.

I have the ArmyTrix downpipes with the stock resonator and mufflers. There is absolutely zero drone. As far as the smell it only a smells outside the car, but in the cabin there is no smell.

Full decat is really loud and smells. No drone. Some burble is ok. Too much hurts performance. These cars aren’t really meant to run like that. Just make sure you use straight pipes and secondary cats since xpipe will smooth out exhaust backfires

Hey guys, I will definitely take a look at the armytrix downpipes. Yeah I was thinking to go with a straight pipe setup if I do go through with it. I’m just not sure if it is worth the headache to worry about emissions down the road or any other problems I may encounter with the tune and going catless. Do you guys suggest anything else if I’m looking for the pops and bangs? Thank you for all your help.

Longtubes and straight mid pipes burbles naturally. Just don’t put xpipe it smooths out the exhaust a lot!

The burble tune isn’t the best for this car. They aren’t really meant to run that way. It’s excessive dumping of fuel off throttle and a retard in timing. Terrible for spark plugs.
