I recently did my own transmission flush along with a new trans filter and then a relearn using the gas pedal method.
now when I go around turns, even after fluid is warm. My 2-3 shift in comfort mode bogs so bad it feels like the brakes locked up. same for 1-2 in sport mode
when in a straight away my upshifts feel like I slam the brakes between shifts really hard then it goes.
am I missing something here? Did I mess up? I did everything I found on DIY flushes. Did I not relearn driving properly?

The fluid level might not be correct , needs to be measured with a laser at a certain temperature . But I’m having issues as well , not the same as yours but a certain different kind of issues that I’ve been dealing with for about a year now ( MCT )

Alright so my fluid was changed at the interval it calls for at Mercedes , the car is tuned and has stock airboxes. The problem im having is ( flaring ) between shifts most pronounced in Comfort mode . The rpm will jump up and down very slightly before settling in the gear . There are no codes stored in the tcu also don't have this happening in Manual mode at all , it seems to happen more worse in lower rpms . Best I could describe it !Originally Posted by EvoToAMG

Not sure what model year your C63 is, but it sounds like the TQ lockup clutch is having some issues engaging/disengaging that it hadn't had previously. Could be a fluid level problem like mentioned

Yea I was thinking it is the lock up clutch having issues , but I was not convinced its a fluid level problem because I had checked the car last week at running temp and the fluid came out in a steady stream when I removed the drain plug. Anyone know how to adapt the lock up clutch via star ?Originally Posted by Funkwagen
