Steering bump sound
Has anyone had the same fault and what could be the cause of the fault?

i had the same problem and found that it was the steering column shaft bought a used one from ebay and fixed my problem.

2020 E 300 Coupe and 2019 GLS 400
Had the same noise on my E55 & ML63, dealers always said it was normal, they showed me a WIS document explaining why steering racks make this type of noise. Although in your case the column might be the cause.
