I have been trolling the site and internet in gereral to school myself up on the C63 since purchasing an 09' with 80k on the odometer. Overall the car is in great shape and sounds like a beast. It did come with a few upgrades that took a little off of my list including:
headers (previous owner does not know brand)
Chin spoiler
CF hood (wrapped in black vinyl)
Black vinyl wrapped trim and roof
19" wheels (previous owner does not know brand)
Since the purchase I have removed the black vinyl on the hood and will be having it painted to match the car within the week. Purchased ROW airboxes and K&N filters(verdict is still out on these as I have read mixed reviews). I would also like to get mirror covers, but want to do something other than the 1 I have seen on the market. Lastly, i have been in talks with a vendor about a CF trunk since the price is not too bad at $750.
I have also identified a local shop, GSR Motorsports, who has worked on these vehicles and will probably be my go to to give me a baseline on the dyno to see where I currently sit. Side note, I was amazed at how much the female behind the counter knew about the car.
Since I was unable to get verification on the headers and or tune is there a way to determine this information? The shop said they would assist, but if I don't have to pay someone I can do the work myself.
Welcome. The headers you might be able to see some stamping on it if you get it up in the air or by looking at the design it self get an idea of which brand it is. The tune you will never know.
