After my wife gave me static about driving on Hwy288 here in Houston, she let my son take her ON 288!! and have a piece of brick crack the front passenger headlight lens. The lens lost the battle. My kid taped it. Didn't prevent water from getting in. After waiting for 5 weeks for a replacement lens from China to arrive, I finally caved and bought a replacement assembly for ~$1,000. Xenons. Intelligent Lighting System... Found the ballast module was full of water. Tried to dry it and tried it. No headlight. But, I had running lights and turn signals. Dropped another $120 for the ballast assembly. Plugged it up and the headlights work. Put the front bumper back on and she looks like new.

She goes on 288 again, she gets to fix her own damages next time.
