Facelift Bumper Removal
Hey guys, looking for some help. I've searched high and low and can't find an answer to this one. Does anyone know how to get at the bottom two bolts on the bumper in order to remove it? I know there are two in there, but the oil cooler is in the way on the passenger side, and the windshield wash reservoir is on the drivers side. I can't get access to the DRL's to unplug those either.
Any advice? I see lots of guides online but they are all for the base C-Class or the pre-facelift C63.

I don’t think the facelift and prefacelift attach any differently. Where is your bumper still attached? There should be the bolts on top near the headlights and 2 bolts inside each fender near the sidemarkers.

That’s definitely not even a facelift car. There’s a foglight there which is only on the PFL. And is that even a C63 pictured? Where is the aux oil cooler? I’ve never seen those bolts or that bracket.
edit: you can tell it’s not a C63 because the lower grille goes around the fog light. You are looking for bolts that aren’t there

You have the fender liners off. Why don’t you just see for yourself? You already said you can’t find them....

Here's a method I've always used when removing the front bumper off my cars:
1. Undo all the bolts I find that attaches the bumper to the car
2. Disconnect any connectors attaching the bumper lights to the car
3. Try removing the front bumper, taking note of where it feels like it won't budge
4. Look in that general area for bolts I missed, typically they are there a few
5. Remove bumper
Works every time. If the bumper doesn't want to come off, its because there's typically a bolt holding it in that you missed. As long as you don't go about it with the intent of ripping the bumper off, you'll know when everything is disconnected. It should want to come right off once you pull it. Take it slow, and you'll be just fine.
