Car shut off randomly in drive thru

Car shut off randomly in drive thru
Today I was in a drive thru, car was in Manual mode.
Wasn’t pushing it too hard, since city driving.
Pulled into the drive thru and temps were 119° C which is slightly high? Fans kicked in so I thought I’d put it into Comfort mode
As soon as the dial went from M—>S+—>S—> and finally C, the car shut off completely. All the lights on the dash lit up, and the car wouldn’t turn back on.
I waited 15 seconds and tried again and it worked, anyone have any idea what this could be? Did an oil change with 0W-40 Mobil 1 Synthetic ~800 KMs ago, levels seem fine and it’s not dirty

Sometimes it will shut down when u you go from M, S+ Or S from a dead stop back to comfort. Could be when u in those modes the transmission gear starts on 1 and in comfort I believe it’s 2 from dead stop. Or vice versa. its Happened to me and I took it to MB for diagnostic and they came up with nothing. I only shift back when I am in motion or park the car.

Mine once stalled going in reverse up a small incline in comfort but never again, so I assume it's just a rare deal.
