Tried to drop off the AMG this morning at Greenway and was told, even though they would be changing out the PCV assembly, they will not install any aftermarket parts (a Weistec Oil Separator). I figured this would happen. I could do this job, but if I break off that key fitting back there, I don't want to be required to pull the intake manifold.
So, I need the name of a really good MB independent mechanic that really knows what they're doing here in the Houston, Tx area
. Also, someone who can perform work under the MB extended warranty I have. I'm in Pearland, but I can drive....
it's a drive (albeit a scenic one at times) but I use EC atx. for all my work - Adam, Dave and the team there are excellent, fair and are candid about mods and needs..... they've talked me out of things.
I'm taking my car over there next month finally for the LSD and CF driveshaft install.... EC Houston might be able to do it but they aren't staffed up like ATX.

Anyone with two hands and a flashlight can install a catch can. Don’t make it harder than it is. Just take it to EC Houston and establish a relationship with them because it will pay off down the road.
