Extended Warranty Recommendations

Hello everyone,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2013 C63. I've been browsing these forums and the consensus seems to be to get an extended warranty. Could you all please provide some company recommendations? I've been calling some different MB dealers and getting quotes (I found out that these aren't MB warranties but third parties) and have gotten prices ranged from around $4.5 - $6K for 4 years comprehensive.

Thanks!

I got a great plan through Ally. My car is a 2014 and had 16k miles at the time and is when I got my warranty 10 months ago. I paid just under $2000 for a 6 year 48,000 mile plan with a $100 deductible. I couldn't believe how cheap it was after hearing what others paid for their warranties. I was told the price goes up pretty substantially if your car has higher miles.

I just went back and forth with this in my head. $4700 for a 4/48. I pulled the trigger, paid the initial premium and then thought that maybe the money i was going to use towards that could be used on my credit card lowering that balance. IF a repair comes up of that magnitude in the next 4years I will just use that. Maybe crazy thinking but I like the idea of reducing my credit balance, not having to pay that extra $190+/ mo for 2yrs on the warranty, and still have to funds on hand if a $4K repair comes up. Someone tell me different.
