PerfExpert dyno app?
So I downloaded this app the other day to see if I could get a quick baseline before I uploaded my new EC tune, but seem to be getting unusually low HP numbers for some reason (TQ seems to be fairly close to what it should be though). Not sure if anyone is familiar with this app or has used it before on this car, but it's supposed to be pretty accurate, which makes sense cause it's a royal PITA to set up and calibrate correctly (and even getting a "clean" pull is a bit of a challenge if the road is a tad rough or your phone isn't held absolutely secure). I'm fairly confident I have all the settings right, but there were a few parameters such as frontal drag area and final gear ratio that I'm still not 100% sure about and wondering if that's affecting my numbers...
I did a few searches here and on Google, but nothing came up for our platform so just wondering if anyone has had success with it, and if so, what-all settings they happen to use.
TIA

How about it’s a phone app and isn’t likely to give anything close to an accurate reading of hp/tq

Or how about it may actually work pretty good if it's set up right but I just have some input parameters wrong? At least that what reviewers said on other platforms...
Not looking for 100% accuracy here, but reasonably consistently #'s somewhat in the ballpark would be nice. Just haven't had the time find a new dyno shop locally and spend 1/2 a day there (all the ones I used in the past either sucked or closed down) so for $9 and almost zero time commitment, figured I'd give it a shot.

Not directly on point, but i used to use an older version of the gtech before iPhones and apps were invented. Fairly easy to use, consistent and was a good tool to see what mods did what as soon as you could find a quiet stretch of road.
Of course going to the drag strip is the safer and more accurate option .
