Is It Just Me??????
Just put in AFe dry filters and I swear my car is quieter lol. Stock exhaust with res delete. I wasn’t waking the neighbors on every pass but still....

IMO I don't think it affects the sound to a noticeable degree, only way to be sure is to measure using a decibel meter. Some members reported a throatier, more crackling and popping exhaust, and a louder intake manifold. Been using these filters for more than 4 years and cannot tell if they did anything in terms of sound or even gains. I only use them for the piece of mind.
