Camshaft adjuster ticking constantly?
I have a constant ticking noise that seems to be coming from the cam adjuster area. It is ticking while the car is running, and not only when the car is just started.
Is this possible, or does the cam adjuster only rattle when the car is started?
If its ticking while the car is running, will the flip pin trick work to solve this or am I up for a new adjuster?

all of the above...
can't speak to the flip trick, but if you don't have a lack of power nor check engine for cam timing issues i wouldn't worry. just run good oil.
