2013 c63 anyone recently replaced their front rotors and pads P30 with U70

Hello I was wondering if anyone has recently replaced their front rotors and pads P30 with U70, 2013 C63 Sedan W204

If so how much did you get them for and who did you get them from

OEM or Aftermarket (Vivid Racing) etc.

What is the best value and performance for daily driver and weekend sporty canyon drives? No track days
Low Dusting, No or Low brake noise no squealing

Based on my research there seem to be many options. for example eeuroparts front rotor $884. per rotor or when I also saw at autohausaz they have some for more than half that price, but they do not specify with P30/U70
so not sure where to even start.

Also, what are the Dimensions of the OEM Rotors U70? 360mm

Thanks,

Tim

What's up Tim. There's a gazillion brake threads. For what you're doing, probably stick with just plain ol' stock pads. They dust, but seem to operate better across a wider range of street driving. Check out FCP Euro or RM european. Great vendors.

U70 was the code for red painted brake calipers, nothing more. Rotors (and pads) are physically interchangeable between the one piece, "1.5" piece that came on the P31 or the 2 piece rotors that came on the original (early) P30 cars. As per Crya's suggestion, stick with OEM pads if you're not going to track the car. Somewhat dusty but quiet, and more importantly, they work in all conditions (even for light track day use, but they will burn up prematurely). You really don't want to find out that you don't have enough stopping power during a weekend spirited canyon drive with low-dust ceramics. For your use the one piece rotors (which are 30% of the price of the 1.5-piece or 2-piece rotors) would perform 100% as well - but stay with OEM pads.
