Ferrari 360 v 2010 C63 AMG
I'm now 40, and yeah 0-60 is kinda okay, but 0-100mph is what I then moved on to. I think it was the McLaren F1 with it's 6.4 to 100mph that burned into my brain. It seemed indescribably fast.
Now in a world of twin turbo Huracans, and GTR's, the battle for lowest 0-100 I kind of don't connect with. It's like drag racing to me, and with electric now putting its cap on back to front, **** is going to change rapidly. Again.
So i've decided to live a good decade behind. Mentally, and automotively. Hence my purchase of a 2010 C63, with 50k (miles) on the clock. And, I love it. But, i'm competitve, on its behalf, and I have at the back of my mind my C63 is as fast as a Ferarri 360 to 100mph. The Ferrari seems to do it in 9.3 seconds. Which I suspect I don't quite match. Being 2010, and the base model, I have 451bhp to play with. I have seen road test in a reputible magazine from back in the day, which I will include a section of here;
So lets drag you back on topic - I've seen 0-60 results from Car and Driver that said they achieved a 3.9 to 60mph. That to me seems optimistic.
CAN I say, with conviction lol, that my car is as fast as a Ferrari 360 to 100mph?! OR... Do I need a remap!??
Any thoughts, or links to verified figures of variants of the C63, that are confirmed, would be gratefully received.
Cheers
James

Personally, I prefer the term 'Benz'. But, back on point, the Modena. Don't make them like that anymore.

I’ll keep my Benz. (And, keeping with the theme, when I say the word Benz, I think of a 450 SEL. In my mind, that was the apogee of ‘Benz-ness’.)
