Choice.... looking for advice

So, I currently own a 2018 C238 E400 coupe, with 17,000kms on it.
My local dealership called me and told me they have a 2017 C63s Coupe with 30,000kms coming in that they would basically trade straight up for my E400.

Would you guys do it? Opinions? If yes, why? If no, why?

Thanks guys, I'm kind of torn with what to do....

Cheers
M

From what I see in the US, generally the 2017 C63s is worth more than the 2018 E400, but depends on the options etc. Personally I would jump on that in a heart beat, the E400 is a beautiful coupe, but it isn't an AMG, the C63S is an animal for sure, but a totally different driving experience, small, more power, sportier better handling, just depends what you want take it for a drive, nothing else mercedes makes compares to an AMG car in book.

Not sure if you have AWD on your E400 but that would be something you give up if you go to the 63.

Also wrong forum this is the W204 gen forum, might want to ask the w205 guys also as they have that car, but in my book take that deal!

2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 Cabriolet, 2014 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S
I went from a 2014 E550 coupe to a 2017 C63 Cabriolet about six months ago. I know the E400 is a completely different car and much nicer and roomier than the older E-class coupe, mine was actually built on the C-class platform but it will never be anywhere near the performance of the C63S. The E550 was a great car with a little over 400hp from that 4.7l V8 engine, it wasn’t lacking in power at all but the C63 is on another level entirely.

Your options for upgrading the E400 will be far more limited too. There just isn’t much aftermarket support for these cars because they are fairly low volume cars for Mercedes Benz.

if you have no problems paying the additional annual registration fee's for the larger engine...go for it. its a much better car. i'm sure they're having a tough time keeping E400's on the lot since they're more for your average consumer that does not want sheer power and speed, but needs a great powerful engine.
