Any luck with cleaning abs sensors?

My car shut down abs and traction control and came out to be front right sensor, I thought it was a fluke but came back after 100 miles of driving after i reset it.

I just washed the car and was wondering if you guys had any luck with cleaning them or just buying a new sensor.

I'd just grab a new one. I know it's a pain in the nuts to change, but they are pretty cheap. Definitely an area where "better safe than sorry" applies I think.

Ive had several failures on BMWs, cleaning never fixed them and they were always covered in crap.
