You have the base seats, they are partially electric and usually not leather. My first c63 had them, crazy for a 70k car but I guess they are also a bit lighter. So the forward back adjustment is manual with a lever, but the other adjustments are electric like recline etc and the bolsters lumbar is electric also. To get the controls on the door, it was an option for the full electric seats which are also leather typically. I liked them as I never really adjusted back and forth, just really hard to get to the controls as there is no room between the door pocket and the seat.

Oh I also forgot there is a wheel at front that is manual too to adjust height - both seats are basically the same seat with the same adjustments, just the base tilt and slide is manual and then the buttons are not on the door, seems odd they even bothered to have 2 options as there is so little difference.
