Hi folks,

Here is a detailed explanation and observation of my problem -

1. Car seems to start and idle fine. No rough idle

2. in S+, car seems to pull fine with slight hesitation during the gear shifts from 1-2-3, but this hesitation is negligible

3. from 3-4 at wide open throttle, the car just bogs down before shifting to 4th. It’s almost like it ran out fuel or air

4. after a very hard run when car shifts from 4-5, I have the same problem

5. After hitting the car hard, when I take a turn (corner) and the car has to shift from 4-3-2-1, it’s like the car has lost complete power and I have no acceleration left

6. if I let it just stand for a few seconds, she sputters back the power and moves ahead with the same problems as listed above

7. the above happens almost like clock work precision ruling out any issues of Spontaneous problems

What I have done -

1. Swapped the fuel pumps (both side) with another C63 to rule that out and the Problem still persists

2. changed air filter to ensure that it wasn’t clogged

3. I thought it’s the tune, so I removed and put the stock ECU , same issue

4. I ran through the battery reset process for ECU and TCU adaptation

5. I Also did the TB reset procedure

Pending to do -

1. I have a 82 mm TB. I think that could be the culprit

2. I recently changed the plugs, maybe the gaping is not proper

3. tank clean up to check for impurities and debris in the tank

any one faced this issue before ?

No check engine light or codes stored? I have seen the throttle pedal fail and do some of the things your are experiencing mainly the wot **** and power cut

Unfortunately, no check engine light. The throttle pedal has been replaced 1 month back. That’s to do with the integrated TPS which was putting car in limp mode every time I would use the kick down switch. That problem is solved

When was the last time you serviced the transmission and changed the oil?

Sounds like it’s misfiring and pulling timing. Old plugs and coil packs perhaps?

i installed the wiesteec pan and also an additional transmission Cooler about 3 months back with a complete transmission oil flush

That’s the problem, I changed the plugs 10
days back!! So I have to rule out

1. plugs
2. injectors
3. fuel pump
4. transmission service

i am suspecting the throttle body. Will swap back stock and see what happens here

Does the issue happen when shifting the transmission gears manually in "manual" mode?

I sometimes get a ****ing weird power cut on WOT upshift too. It even sets my traction control back to On (I always drive with it off).

Hey, I have the same problem with my W205 c63s coupe. In 3th gear when I go WOT the car accelerates hard to almost red line/shift point the car cuts power does not want to go to 4th gear (feel like hesitates / sputters...feels like lack of fuel or power.

Hey did you ever figure anything out? Going through the exact same thing right now, I can go all the way through 3rd at half throttle with no issues but if I go WOT and go all the way through 3rd it goes to soft limp mode as soon as it shifts to 4th and I get no boost at all

Are you guys running good fuel (preferably 93 octane)? Sounds like possible misfires, not sure if you’ve got the ability to data log your runs. Could be a bad spark plug or coil pack.
