As title says, seeking a reputable video in motion seller. Ideally I’m looking for the software style (cd/SD-card) hack vs any hardware installs. What I’m wanting to unlock is the txt message screen really. My old c250 has this unlocked and I could read all the texts while driving. so I assumed they must’ve purchased something to allow this.

I used these guys for mine https://www.bimmerguru.com/benz worked like a top, sent him the VIN, put what I got back on a USB or CD (forget which) and took about 1 minute to unlock. Not sure about texts, I wanted it for address entry while in motion which it unlocks along with VIM and some other stuff - he is pretty responsive, just email and see if it unlocks texts also.

I pulled an old VIM kit out of my car when installing a new head unit. Not sure if it will meet all your requirements, but let me know if you’re interested. I can pull it out and let you know the model number. I would let it go real cheap.
