2011 vs 2012 MMR Wholesale Values
LSS, been lucky enough to have bought most of my cars via wholesale and am always keeping an eye out for the next 'upgrade'. Decided to check out some FL C63s (these Black series coupe conversions are haunting me) thru Manheim (largest wholesale auction), and pricing seemed lower than I expected. With multiple Manheim MMR '11 vs '12 comparisons (same miles/condition/color/location, etc - FL coupe or sedan basically the same), the '12s were only about $1K more. Don't recall the exact difference but was quite a bit more when I bought my '10 2 years ago. Memory not the best, but can only recall something like this when there's some collectability factor or significant change(eg: rx7 vs rx8). Important to note that 10vs11 or 12vs13 comparisons were about $3K apart ('11s carried a pretty good premium over '8-'10s 2 years ago as well and I've always assumed HBs). Obviously each used car should be judged on its own merits and doubt this info can help at a dealership, but found it interesting - my PSA for the year

You need to keep in mind condition and vehicle history. Many of the examples you are seeing are rough and have bad Carfax/Autocheck. A good clean one, will bring great money, all about condition as they get older.
I work/buy/value for a large wholesale operation, we also run a nation wide guaranteed valuation program, with a well known digital partner.

Which is the case for all cars.

I bought mine from Manheim for 28300 it’s a 12 50k miles coupe. The clean ones with under 70k miles are way mkre expensive than mmr. It was also a 4.9 condition
