Oil? Leak

Hi folks,

My wife pulled out of the garage this morning and left an oil spot (it was fine yesterday). Her car is a 204 C350S. It looks, feels, and smells like Mobil1 but it could be diff oil... definitely not tranny oil.

The spot wasn't under the engine, it lines up more with the rear seats and not far back enough to be where the diff would be while parked.

It's cold as **** here and I will jack it up when she gets home. Any thoughts on the most likely culprit so as to reduce my time in the frigid garage?

*DISREGARD*

One of my sons spilled oil on the floor where his mom parks while he was topping off his Bimmer. That explains why she had Mobil1 in a place / location it should not be...

Kids... you gotta love 'em. Ever heard of a rag ya dope??? Jeez.

Mystery solved. Carry on.

doubt it. Centrifuge cover or cam plugs are leaking. just look for the smoke on your catalyst.
