For those that have had the cam adjuster covers off, WIS says to put RTV on the 5 bolts that hold the cover on, not sure why as all the bolts are outside the seal so really should be no oil there. Just wondering if others have done this and if they just put a little around the bolt head as WIS is not very specific.

I didn't use any over 2 years ago when I did my HBs. No leaks.

Thanks, seems there is none there from the factory and I had the cam adjusters done 3 months ago, so they were off and none indication of sealant on the bolts after that either, so will go with none then as you have had no issues.
