This engine is does not have an exhaust bottle neck making 335hp.

They need to do this on a big block v8 that can make 700hp to see how a restrictive exhaust makes a difference.

he needs to do this same test running 12lbs of boost on this engine.

10 C six trizzle
From a cost perspective we all know long tubes aren't that great of a bang for buck. 3k$+ for 20-30whp. That's life. It is pretty pointless comparing a stock low performance engine vs one with high flow exhaust. That's like trying to justify the 3" exhaust on a honda. big gains of +7 whp putting you at 110whp lol. Amg exhaust is pretty decently sized from the factory. Even the stock primary cats flow pretty well. Most of the piping is 2.7" dual from start to finish. That cannot be said for many performance vehicles.

Blkrokt.
Watched that a couple of years ago when it came out.
It prooved my thoughts.
Back in the 90Žs i had an turbocharged Opel.
I needed to bash one primarytube to get space for a inletrunner.

Never noticed any problems whatsoever in that setup
It ran low 11.s on street tires.

Are you looking for rationale to to put some ratty, beaten, and banged up pipes in your car?

Nope.
Just to mention that one shouldnŽt give those cheap headers so much crap, because they do work.
Exhaustflow donŽt give a damn about the finish on the outside as long as the design is good.
Myself i got MBH headers(just bought them today), but still wanŽt to put it out that cheapo headers do work.

Longevity is a completely other thing, i canšt say anything about that as i dont have the experiance about that.
