In need of spare key.
Before someone starts leaving useless comments on doing a search first.
I already searched and couldn’t find anything helpful.
My car came with only one key when I purchased it used and having another one would be helpful in case one of my kids get their hand on the only key and misplaced it.
The question is.
Did anyone of you have to get an additional key (keyless go)?
If so what was the easiest and most cost efficient way?
Going to the dealer isn’t on option for me.

It's a theft deterrent device. 92% positive the FOB can only be married once AND that only the dealer can order new keys.
Haven't you seen Gone in 60 seconds? :p

I had to get one for mine, Dealer is only option, they have to be coded from them. It was about $350 iirc.
They need vin, and owner on registration has to get the key.

Well, I found another way which isn’t a dealership. Thanks for the outstanding suggestions.
