Nah. Just a really good excuse to drink!
However... no matter how much space you clear in your garage, it will not be enough. We humans will always need a little more time than allocated, & a little more space than available.

Front bumper cover weighs 5lbs vs about 20lbs for stock. Absolutely perfect fit, better than OE even. This will make taking it on and off all the time much easier, I can do it with one hand. Everything lines up correctly to the fenders so you could even just run the bumper without the rest of the kit if you wanted.

Good to see that the fitment is spot on.
What is the bumper made of?

This is rad because you're wasting NO time! Looks killer. And nice to hear how something aftermarket DOES indeed fit and function properly

I know this isnt a "full" kit, but could you do estimated weight reduction with the kit installed vs removed panels?

I know wheels will probably end up being the biggest variable, w/ sprung weight, but just curious.

Will probably be net-net on zero. Front bumper is lighter. But then adding flares and skirts, cutting up existing aluminum/steel fenders, removing Vorsteiner side skirts, glue and hardware etc. Should end up about where I am now at 35xx lbs.

Does the kit come with another overlay for the buttom section?
The picture on the liberty walk website somewhat shows that there is another part to it.

Yes, there’s a separate splitter. I haven’t unwrapped it yet. May not even use it. It’s supported by adjustable struts as seen on Vader_C63’s car above. They’re not functional as in weight-bearing, just for show. Will have to reengineer it to be truly functional, or I may add a larger APR splitter down the road with a quick-connect to a mount on the frame that can take load. I’m pretty far from that point.

And also if you could drop the cost for when you get the rear fenders cut and re-welded by the shop, that would be appreciated as well lol

Well I’m cutting them so zero. Yeah, I know....

Can’t imagine welding the rear fender will cost more than a hundred bucks or two.

Shouldn’t cost much although most of the work is prep for the welding getting the wheels off covering all the brake and suspension components and getting the metal good for a weld

What do you think about cutting the passenger side rear fender, near the gas fill? Do I need to take any extra precautions, and what are they? I imagine cutting multiple layers of sheet metal right there with the heat and sparks etc is asking for trouble...

You should be fine it’s not too close to where you are cutting. Not a bad idea to have some sort of shielding if the filler tube is exposed underneath (I forget if they are or not on these cars) if you are worried about sparks some water helps with that and keeping the parts from getting too hot

use some sort of sheers or saw, which don’t create sparks. I used one of those before on sheet metal, worked quite well.

Can I ask you to post the price you paid (pm if you don't want public?) I'm curious approx price for another car, but I'm thinking they're all around the same ballpark for price (unless it's a lambo or somethin)

Also if you get stuck on something feel free to ask us, or just take a break. If you haven't done much wrapping before, you'll find out that parts like the front bumper will be pretty difficult. Better to take a moment to "de-stress" rather than break something or ruin your piece of wrap lol.
