Liberty Walk DIY Build Thread

However... no matter how much space you clear in your garage, it will not be enough. We humans will always need a little more time than allocated, & a little more space than available.

I know wheels will probably end up being the biggest variable, w/ sprung weight, but just curious.

The picture on the liberty walk website somewhat shows that there is another part to it.

Yes, there’s a separate splitter. I haven’t unwrapped it yet. May not even use it. It’s supported by adjustable struts as seen on Vader_C63’s car above. They’re not functional as in weight-bearing, just for show. Will have to reengineer it to be truly functional, or I may add a larger APR splitter down the road with a quick-connect to a mount on the frame that can take load. I’m pretty far from that point.

Can’t imagine welding the rear fender will cost more than a hundred bucks or two.

Then again maybe it's insurance, hOw'D yOu ScReW uP mY cAr bRO haha.
Just an angle grinder to it eh?

Also if you get stuck on something feel free to ask us, or just take a break. If you haven't done much wrapping before, you'll find out that parts like the front bumper will be pretty difficult. Better to take a moment to "de-stress" rather than break something or ruin your piece of wrap lol.
