Tune and charging battery Question

After I upload the tune, I understand that I need to unplug the battery overnight. Just the negative cable ok? At that point, I have to charge from the battery itself, correct? Where do I clamp the negative cable in the trunk? I can't locate an appropriate spot. Thanks for the help.

Just disconnect the battery overnight. Then reconnect it, start up and go. That’s it.

No need to charge the battery while disconnected?

Only if it’s low. Stick it on a charger if it makes you feel better. If it has enough charge to start the car it’s fine.

unplugging the batter will save power. You don't need to unplug it if u have star setup. Just go in and do a reset and all pending can codes are gone.
