Intermittent n/s headlight fault and indicator anyone else experience a similar as I don't think it's the bulb but an earth fault

I have the same issue with my driver side marker, try changing the bulb to a Mercedes certified or CAN certified bulb.

dealer quoted me $1200 for a new Headlight module, but my light still works.

light comes on maybe 1 time every 3 months

Could be a fuse/faulty connection issue.
Change the globe and make sure all the connections are secure.
