Plastic Valve covers strike again

I know many have had this issue, but mine was leaking a little last year, pulled it and found the seal was pushed over a bit in the lower back corner, so replaced and all good. Then the dealer had it off to do CA's and I had it off again to do lifters over the winter. This spring found it was weeping a little again so pulled it off today and seal looked perfect. inspected more closely and found a hairline crack near the back drivers side, not sure if just too many time on and off or if dealer maybe torqued incorrectly or didn't follow tightening sequence, but needs replaced, new part number so hopefully the new ones are better built or reinforced more.

Looks like 250 on line is the best price I can fine, will call my dealer on Monday to see and maybe call FCP, for some reason they only have the passenger side on on their website and not the drivers side one.

I did call another local dealer that was open on Saturday, Mercedes list on the part is $350 - stealers quoted me $450 - my dealer is usually list less 20% so should be 280.

Will see if FCP can order the drivers side would be nice to have the warranty!
