I agree . What scanner would you recommend buying ?
i went to a different garage with a proper scanner this afternoon and they said there was no codes at all on it.. It’s weird sometimes I can drive the car for up to a hour and it’s fine and other times it’s 10 minutes once it happens it reeks of fuel .. once I let car cool down and start back again it’s fine 😑... going to have to wait till
it comes back then take it back.. on a different note the dealer said my car is needed back for a steering rack recall🤔

Well the scanner came and it had some stored codes , which where the multiply misfires and then these 2 , heater on oxygen sensor and oxygen sensor electrical fault. I cleared them since I’ve had new o2 sensors on and drove 60/70 miles and no extra fuel smell or shaking or misfires from the car . The car feels as all of the power is back and feels great. Hopefully I just had to delete the stored codes? Thanks for everyone who helped
