Eurocharged V7 Tune Review + Mike's Power Pipe
Long time lurker, first time poster - I wanted to wait for the dyno results before giving my review for the Eurocharged V7 Tune I got for my 2010 C63 a couple weeks ago + Mike's Straight Power Pipe I replaced the secondary cat with.
Similar to many of the EC reviews on here, Adam and the guys at Eurocharged ATX delivered great customer service from the first email I sent in onward. I live in Austin so I was able to get it tuned on site. I also wanted to replace the secondary cat so I dug up Mike's Power Pipe email (maykel777 @ bellsouth.net, mikegpr03) on the forum and reached out to him - he replied shortly thereafter with his phone number and we discussed options; he recommended his straight pipe replacement as a starting point, and I shipped it to EC as I had spoken to Adam about getting it installed there. Sidenote: I had such a hard time finding a place that would replace the secondary cats before asking EC so that was a huge relief.
A week after the straight pipe installation (2 weeks after V7 tune) I went back to get some dyno results - ended up with 456whp/408wtq so ~556hp/509tq and needless to say I'm a happy camper. Aside from the overall performance and throttle response, the most notable aspect of the tune for me is how much faster the shifts are in S mode.
As for Mike's Straight Power Pipe, it's exactly what I was looking for: quiet at cruising speeds but absolutely snarls when you want it to, while maintaining the signature AMG sound. Not to mention the mean downshifts while in Manual mode. Mike had the pipe packaged and shipped the day after we spoke on the phone - communication was great and I highly recommend his work.
