Need exhaust help! Any input appreciated

Hey y’all, my 09 c63 has long tube headers, stock secondaries, stock resonators and stock mufflers, car sounds great, but was wondering if my leaving the res or 2ns cats in Is holding Any power away? I heard that I can pick up 10whp just from putting a 2.5 inch x pipe for my 2nd cats and deleting the res, is this true?
personally, I don’t like raspy sounding c63’s, it takes the Amg bark away and from what I was told, touching the cats and res makes it crazy raspy?
any input is appreciated thanks
the video below is my current set up

You might pick a little power up from deleting the cats, but taking out the resonator will give you nothing and take away the AMG sound. The x-pipe will also kill the AMG sound, it will be like a straight piped 5.0 Ford.

Tl;dr keep resonator for best sound.

so the negligible power isn’t worth touching the cats and res in your opinion?

I still have my stock headers but removed my secondary cats and resonator (straight pipe for both) and I think my car sounds WAY better now than before. You really have to listen to someone's car in person to tell if you like it or not because YouTube videos will not replicate the sound in real life. I spent a few hours reading through all the threads and eventually said f it, it's reversible, and took off my secondary cats/res and have no regrets at all.

With that being said, I love loud cars and some people don't, so this is just my personal opinion. Some people think it is too loud and not refined, everyone has their own preferences.

Put in 200 cell race cats. It will get 20% louder than what you have and if its to tingy/raspy get a remus exhaust.

Best sounding setup on this car is remus and 200 cell race cats. There is nothing that comes close to it. All the amg bark and tone with 50% increase in sound with lots of pops and bangs. It will sound like a v12

i love the pitch and tone of it right now, if it got louder I wouldn’t mind it as long as the tone doesn’t change, personally I was doing a lot of research on it and leaving the second cats I’m maybe holding in 5hp which isnt noticeable
